Pilgrim Tour – Israel

Day 1 – Departure to Israel

• Depart from gateway city for Israel. Beverages and meals served on board.

Day 2  – ARRIVE TO BEN GURION AIRPORT – ISRAEL

• Arrive to Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, where you will be met and assisted by our representative through customs and transfer to your hotel
• Drive to the Sea of Galilee
• Dinner and Overnight: Sea of Galilee

Day 3 – JORDAN RIVER / CAPERNAUM / MT. BEATITUDE

• Breakfast at hotel
• We will start our day with a visit to Mt Beatitude where Jesus gave his “Sermon on the Mount” (Matt.5).
• Tabgha we will remember the miracle of Multiplication of loaves and fishes (Mark 6) with which he fed thousands of
• Visit Capernaum, Jesus’ own city (Mark 1).
• Lunch Break for Fish Lunch on The Jordan River (lunch on own)
• Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee.
• End the day at the Jordan River and renew your baptism as a true pilgrim!
• Dinner and Overnight: Sea of Galillee

 Day 4 – BETHSHEAN / NAZARETH / MEGIDDO / CAESAREA

• Breakfast at hotel
• Drive to the fantastic excavations at Beit Shean (1 Sam 31:8-13) also the pagan City in Roman times.
• Visit Nazareth with a stop the Basilica of Annunciation which is one of the world’s most holy Christian Liturgical, built on the traditional site of the annunciation by the Angel Gabriel of the birth of Jesus. The central grotto is believed to have been the home of Mary.
• We will stop at Mount Carmel, at Muhraka, which means “burned place,” where Elijah faced off against the prophets of Baal and God sent down fire from Heaven. (I Kings 18:17-46).
• We will then continue on to Megiddo and then through the Jordan Valley passing Adam (Josh. 3) where the children of Israel crossed over and on to the coastal road to Caesarea, an excavated city built by Herod the Great 2000 years ago. It served as the administrative capital of Judea for over 600 years.
• Dinner and Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 5 – MT. OF OLIVE / TEMPLE MOUNT / GETHSEMANE / WESTERN WALL

• Breakfast at hotel
• Begin the day with the glorious view of the Old City of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives
• Enter the Old City of Jerusalem through the Dung Gate to visit the Western Wall and have a time of prayer.
• We will walk through the Kotel Tunnels
• Prayer walk on the Temple Mount
• Walk among the excavations of the Opel where Jesus and His disciples would have walked.
• Walk down the We will see St. Anne’s Church
• Visit Gethsemane and see its ancient olive trees, remembering Jesus’ agony in prayer for us
• On to the Western Wall and Via Dolorosa
• Dinner and Overnight: Jerusalem

 Day 6 – MASSADA / DEAD SEA / QUMRAN/JERICHO

• Breakfast at hotel
• We will start our day at Masada and take the cable car to the top of the rock and visit the Roman palaces, store-houses, synagogues and bath house. Sitting on an isolated cliff in the Judean Desert, Masada’s steep slopes and precipices rise more than 400 meters above the Dead Sea. The combination of cliffs and escarpments in the desert area provided Masada with the perfect natural defense system. Had the attackers not blazed routes to the top, there would have been no way for them to reach the summit. We will then descend by cable car and continue up into the Judean Hills
• Enjoy the Dead Sea and it’s amazing, mineral-laden waters
• Visit Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were found
• Possible to visit Jericho the oldest city in the world
• Drive back to Jerusalem
• Dinner and Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 7 – BETHLEHEM/MARKET/EIN KAREM

• Breakfast at hotel
• Visit Bethlehem including Manger Square, Church of the Nativity, Shepard’s Field and Milky way
• Visit the market of Jerusalem “Mahne Yehuda”
• Visit Ein Karem neighborhood with its famous churches John the Baptist and the Visitation
• Dinner and Overnight: Jerusalem

Day 8 – YAD VASHEM / ISRAEL MUSEUM / MT. ZION / GARDEN TOMB

• Breakfast at hotel
• Visit Yad Vashem, the museum of the Holocaust.
• On to the Israel Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls, Shrine of the Book and model of the Holy Land.
• Visit Zion and the Upper Room, remembering the Last Supper and outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
• Peter en Galicantu church is built over the site of the house of Caiaphas where Jesus was imprisoned.
• Proceed to Gordon’s Calvary and the Garden Tomb.
• Farewell dinner
• Transfer to airport for your flight back home.

Day 9 – Arrival Home

• Arrive to the USA from a “Life Changing Experience that will stay with you for all your days.
