Pilgrim Tour Jordan – Israel – Egypt

Arrival

• Meet our Tour leader at Airport.  After Immigration clearance we proceed to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Amman (Arena Hotel).

Day 1 – Mount Nebo – Madaba Bridge – Petra  

• After Breakfast check out from the hotel & then proceed to Petra.
  On the way Visit Mount Nebo & Madaba church then continue to Petra for visit & overnight stay.

Day 2 – Petra – Allenby – Nazareth – Cana

• Welcome arrival by our guide, assist with the formalities, and proceed to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood and lived with Joseph and Mary; visit the Annunciation Church – the announcement of the Angel Gabriel to Virgin Mary of the approaching virgin birth.  Visit St. Joseph, the Carpenter and Mary’s well;  Proceed to Cana where Jesus did his first Miracle “the transformation of water into wine.   Check in the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 –  Mt of Beatitudes – Capernaum – Tabgha – St Peter’s Primacy – Jordan River

• After Breakfast in the hotel proceed to Mt. of Beatitudes where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:1-8)- spend 2 hours at the Mount.  Then on to Capernaum where Jesus used to live and heal the sick preaching in the synagogue and performing miracles (Matthew 9:1, 4:13). And then head to Tabgha, visit the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish, Church of St. Peter’s Primacy.
  Afternoon visit to the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized in the river by John the Baptist (if anyone needs Baptismal rites performed can be arranged if a Pastor/Priest present in the group; otherwise do so  privately themselves) .  Proceed to Mt. Tabor to visit the Basilica of the Transfiguration Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Nazareth .

Day 4 – Haifa – Caesarea – Tel Aviv (Jaffa) – Bethlehem 

• After Breakfast in the hotel check out then proceed to visit city of Haifa visit Mount Carmel, visit Stella Maris, and then continue to visit Water Aqueduct in Caesarea, then proceed to Tel Aviv the commercial capital of Israel (if possible, stop for a good view of the city) then on to Jaffa, to visit Peter’s Church, then proceed to Bethlehem.  After lunch visit shepherd’s field, Nativity Church the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Bethlehem

Day 5  – Mt of Olives – Mt Zion – Ein Karem – Bethlehem 

• After Breakfast in the hotel  visit Mt. of Olives (7.30am)to see the panoramic view of Jerusalem from atop the Mountain, visit the Ascension Church, and walk towards  the Pater Noster, then on to the Church of Dominos Flevit where Jesus wept over Jerusalem shortly before the destruction of the second temple, then on proceed to visit the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus was captured by the Romans, after he was betrayed by Judas, visit virgin Mary’s Tomb, then proceed to Mt. Zion, visit St. Peter in Galicuntu, then visit the Upper Room and the Dormition Abbey, After lunch proceed to Ein Karem to visit the Church of Visitation (Luke 1:39-56). Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 6 – Old City of Jerusalem – Bethany – Jericho – Dead Sea – Qumran caves

• After Breakfast in the hotel, (7:00 am) proceed to enter the Old City of Jerusalem from Lion’s Gate to visit St. Anne’s Church the Pool of Bethesda, then through the stations of the cross visit the Golgotha & the Holy Sepulchre church, visit the Empty Tomb of Jesus then on to the Jewish Quarter, visit the Wailing wall and have a panoramic view of the Mosque of Omar. Then head to Bethany – (1 hour from Jerusalem start after lunch by 2:00pm) to visit Lazarus Tomb.  Proceed to Jericho, visit the Sycamore Tree (Zachheus, the tax collector climbed the tree to view Jesus).  Visit Mt. of Temptation where Jesus was tempted by the devil.  To the Dead Sea the lowest spot on earth, enjoy a swim in the Salty Waters, Qumran caves.  Overnight and dinner Dead Sea area

Day 7 – Tabha Border – Red Sea – St Catherine 

• Proceed to Tabha border to cross over to Egypt driving towards Sinai mountains, passing by the red sea (2 hours drive from Israeli border, we will visit The Foot hills of mount Sinai St Catherine Monastery, Moses chapel, Moses’ well then check in to hotel for dinner & overnight.

Day 8 – St Catherine – Cairo – Pyramids – Holy Family Church 

• After Breakfast proceed to Cairo by early in the morning, (11 HOURS DRIVE FROM ST CATHERINE TO CAIRO) we will use the under tunnel of Suez Canal by road, reaching there by afternoon.  After lunch.  Check in Hotel Mercure, have a free afternoon and overnight stay in hotel Mercure.

Day 9 – Pyramids – Cairo.

• After Breakfast proceed to visit Coptic Cairo, we will visit the hanging church, Holy Family Church and oldest synagogue in Egypt.  Visit Pyramids & Sphinx and to Cairo Museum, lunch and shopping time, by 6:00 pm we proceed to Nile cruise, dinner in the cruise. After Nile Cruise proceed to hotel overnight stay in Hotel Mercure.

Day 10 – Back to Home

• Check out of hotel at 2:00 pm local Egyptian time and head to Cairo International Airport for your flight back home.
