Bar/Bat Mitzvah Tour / Family Tour

Day 1 – Arrival to Israel/Tel Aviv

• Arrival to Israel – please advise your full flight details and if you would like us to assist at arrival
• Assistance at airport
• IF time permits tour of Tel Aviv

Day 2 – The Coast

• 9:00 am pick up from Tel Aviv
• Visit Caesaria
• Walk in knee level water in Mei Kedem
• Drive via Haifa overlooking the Bahai Gardens
• Visit the Grottos of Rosh Hanikra
• BBQ dinner at Ramot Nofesh
• Overnight: Ramot Nofesh (Nature Cabins) https://ramot-nofesh.co.il/en/

Day 3 –     

• Gan Hashlosha Natural Springs
• Degania Alef– First Kibbutz
• Degania Bet– Chocolate Factory
• Visit Tiberias + Lake Kinnerth
• Jeep tour of the Golan
• Dinner at Hotel
• Overnight: Ramot Nofesh (Nature Cabins)

Day 4 –

• Visit Sefad
• Visit a military base in the Golan Heights (security permitting)
• Ride ATVs OR horseback ride along the Syrian border at Kibbutz Marom HaGolan and see the former Syrian Headquarters.
• Have fun rafting on the source of the Jordan River from Kibbutz HaGoshrim
• Enjoy a Shabbat Dinner at  hotel
• Overnight: Ramot Nofesh (Nature Cabins)

Day 5 – 

• Visit the ancient city of Beth Shean
• Swim in the Sachne River
• Drive into the Judean Desert to the site of Qurman
• Drive to Ein Gedi nature resort and enjoy a hike
• Outdoor overnight with Bedouin dinner with camel ride at Kfar Hanokdim https://www.kfarhanokdim.co.il/

Day 6 – 

• Early morning climb Masada via snake path
• Possible to have a bar mitzvah ceremony on top of Masada (this requires to book Rabbi to Masada let me know if you are interested)
• Tour Masada
• Descend via cable car
• Enjoy a jeep tour in the Judean desert (extra charge of $289)
• Float in the Dead Sea
• Drive to Jerusalem for overnight
• Lookout Jerusalem from of Scopus and say “Shicyanu” prayers
• Enjoy a Shabbat Dinner at hotel

Day 7 – 

• Early morning climb Masada via snake path

• Descend via cable car
• Float in the Dead Sea
• Drive to Jerusalem for overnight

Day 8 – 

• Visit the old city of Jerusalem
• Pray at the Kotel + Tunnels (possible to have the Bar/Bat Mitzvah ceremony at Kotel)
• VR Tour of western wall
• Jewish Quarter
• View the Temple Mt
• Visit the Burnt House and Davidson Center
• City of David including Hezkiah’s Tunnel (walk in knee level water with candles)
• Overnight & Dinner: Inbal hotel, Jerusalem

Day 9 – 

• Enjoy a 3 hours Archaeological dig at Beith Guvrin
• Visit Latrun armored museum where the tanks from previous wars of Israel are exhibited
• Visit the Stalactite Caves
• Visit the Ayalon Institute
• Overnight & Dinner: Inbal hotel, Jerusalem

Day 10 – 

• 12:00 Late check out from hotel Enjoy a 3 hours Archaeological dig at Beith Guvrin
• Yad Vashem holocaust memorial (possible to book a visit with a holocaust survivor)
• Mache Yehuda market with food tasting
• Transfer to Ben Gurion airport for departure
